Equipment Requirements

Hi K-4 Clinic Participants!  We wanted to send out an email to clarify what equipment your daughters will need for the K-4 Spring Lacrosse Clinic.  Here are the items required:
  • Girls Lacrosse Stick (Be sure to get a girls stick not a boys stick – they are very different and we want to make sure your child is learning with the proper equipment.  Also, make sure to buy a real stick as opposed to a toy stick)
  • Lacrosse Goggles (Metal cage-like goggles that fit around the eye portion of the face.  If your daughter wears glasses, it will make sense to take her to the store ahead of time and try on a few pairs to see which ones fit best over the glasses).
  • Molded Mouth Guard (Tip!  Mold this with your child a few days or a week prior to the first clinic – this is an awkward process involving hot water so it’s best not to do it right before the clinic!)
  • Water Bottle
  • Sneakers or Cleats
  • Layers (it might still be cold – though we hope not!)
All of the above items can be purchased at any sporting goods store.  Your child will not be able to participate without the proper equipment.  In particular, we will not allow a child to play if she does not have her goggles and mouth guard with her.  These items are protect the kids from getting hurt.  Please help them to come prepared!
We look forward to seeing you and your girls out on the fields soon!  Please email me if you have any questions.  And we are always happy to have more parent volunteers so if you’d like to help out please email me!
